Franciscans of St. John the Baptist is a charitable organization which looks after the two main aspect of our society as a whole in Pakistan, namely the Health Care of the poor and Education of the poor children of the society. We feel that health is one of the most vital areas for the poor people to look into and to up-lift them so that they may become better citizens in order to serve the nation. The Franciscans of St. John the Baptist Organization’s main areas of concern are the poor in interior Sindh.
The second area of our concern is the education of the poor children. The Franciscans of St. John the Baptist look after the education of the youth in major cities of Pakistan namely Taluka Khipro, District Sanghar Taluka and Karachi, District East where they get full scholarship of boarding and lodging. We believe that these two areas of our life are very important to grow in the society. Therefore to uplift the society we have to serve and work for the poor, youth and less privileged.

Franciscans of St John the Baptist, Pakistan was registered on March 10, 2000, under Societies, (XXI Act of 1860).The Organization of Franciscans of St John the Baptist, Pakistan is a charitable Organization. It is a non-profitable, non-commercial, and non-religious entity. It also trains theFranciscan youth intellectually, spiritually, and culturally for as a professional Pastors/Teachersto be atthe service of the people in Pakistan as a whole.
The main task of organization is to spread education, health awareness and to promote charitable works for the less Privileged people. Since then it is working actively in three sectors of human life, as follows Health,Educationand Charity.During the Board of Directors meeting there were discussions in groups and after each presentation of every report. The purpose of these deliberations was to facilitate the formulation of a mandate for the up-coming new board members of the organization of Franciscans of St John the Baptist, Pakistan.
