About Us

Franciscans of St John the Baptist, Pakistan was registered on March 10, 2000, under Societies, (XXI Act of 1860).The Organization of Franciscans of St John the Baptist, Pakistan is a charitable Organization. It is a non-profitable, non-commercial, and non-religious entity. It also trains theFranciscan youth intellectually, spiritually, and culturally for as a professional Pastors/Teachersto be atthe service of the people in Pakistan as a whole.

The main task of organization is to spread education, health awareness and to promote charitable works for the less Privileged people. Since then it is working actively in three sectors of human life, as follows Health,Educationand Charity.During the Board of Directors meeting there were discussions in groups and after each presentation of every report. The purpose of these deliberations was to facilitate the formulation of a mandate for the up-coming new board members of the organization of Franciscans of St John the Baptist, Pakistan.

Our Vision

Bring love, joy, hope and a better life through the means of Education for their children and families to overcome the poverty and injustices of their lives and to become better persons. The vision for future plan of the organization is to serve and to minister to their needs:

The first and the most important is to promote Education, the second is the religious education formation and the third is to give Health education and helping in the health issues. As an organization of Franciscans of St. John the Baptist Pakistan we must continue to serve those who are extremely poor, marginalized and on the peripheries of the society.

Our mission

We provide a compassionate and positive environment where children/Franciscan Youth with complex medical, mental health and educational needs receive specialized care from people who are committed to excellence, innovation and family support…so that children/Franciscan youth can reach their fullest potential and live their best life.

we focus on

Education

Education is our first priority: to educate our children through our village schools but the parents need motivation to send their children (boys/girls) to school for the education. We Franciscans provide school material and scholarship funds for their primary school education, high school education, and college education and for religious educationformation for the ordained and for the non-ordained professional studies and training being provided.

Health care

We helped the emergency medical cases of families through health care awareness, Medical Camps and deserving patient treatmentbecause they don’t have enough money to pay for their long treatments.

Community Building

For women we provide sewing machines and training for stitching clothes in order to support their families, giving help for burnt houses or in any emergency, supporting vocational training and professional training programmes.

Pastoral Care and Catechism

Thus through our sacramental ministry, giving catechesis through audio/video material and celebrating the Eucharist every day and on the big feasts days in order to give them a real foundation of faith; but it demands more effort and commitment.
